Supergrass
Fin

Farewell from forever-young Oxford popsters?

Short of actually printing a note on the sleeve saying 'Guitar, bass, drumkit and vintage Moog for sale: motivated sellers seek quick transaction', it's hard to know how Supergrass could hint any stronger that they're about to hang up their comedy sideburns for good. 'Fin' slopes along with all the vim and vigour of the calypso setting on an electric organ set to 'morbund', and even if there's still something gently affecting to Gaz Coombes' stoned-cherub coo, this still remains quite possibly the least radio-friendly single since GG Allin-penned 'Expose Yourself To Kids'. But for totally different reasons, obviously.
