Rock Logos
Like many of the best logos, Supergrass's was not designed as such. Nick Bax of Designers Republic recalls that it evolved "simply as an element in the design of the first single, Caught By The Fuzz. We used a globe, like the old EMI one, and put three figures in front to make it look like Charlie's Angels or The Man From U.N.C.L.E. It's never used as a main design element, just as their logo to go alongside the record company's, but it works because it defines them as a fun band.
