Never Done Nothing Like That Before
This short, but surprisingly powerful song is great! It has the power of 'Richard III', but sparks off lots more energy. The song on the one-sided 7" starts off with the sounds of the band fooling around with some fire-crackers. After 20 seconds it blasts off in a very powerful Mick-sung rock-track that reminds a lot of last years release of 'Brain Donor' (Julian Cope with Spiritualized): a punked-up version of the legendary 'Iggy & The Stooges'-sound, but in this song mixed with a slight Glammy touch and in the slower bridges gentle touches of 'Strawberry Fields Forever' and 'These Boots Are Made For Walking.
This raunching track leaves you with buzzing ears, hoping for more!
