The Reader Review
Supergrass
Glastonbury 1997
The first time I had seen the lovely lads live in the flesh and they didn't disappoint. They kicked off with the good old favourites which got the crowd going. Excellent 'Caught by the Fuzz' (my personal favourite - what is this crap about being immature?) and equally fab 'Sun Hits the Sky'.
I was about 10 rows back in the moshpit, covered in mud and BSE no doubt, but having the time of my life. I flung myself around for the duration, then collapsed, sodden, into the mud, a very happy girl.
The memory of that performance has kept me elated ever since. Cheers boys!
